Virgin Protectress

Virgen del Amparo

I, Jeremy Yocum, dedicate this retablo to the Virgin Protectress because despite the fact that I have no idea about music and to being incapable of playing any instrument, me and my fiancée Amanda make a living as vibraphonists. So far we haven’t had any complaints about us doing playback in our shows. The audience think that it is us playing Mambas and Cha-cha-cha.

I, Pedro Fuentes, and all my crew thank the Virgin Protectress for we managed to disembark safely 30 tons of cocaine coming from Cali at the beach of Mazatlan.

I dedicate this retablo to the Virgin Protectress thanking her for I finally got an automatic 8-mm Kodak camera. It has an electronic sensor which tells the exposure automatically. Scene by scene, I can shoot films with rich colors without any worries. The f/1.6 lens gives a bright bokeh, and with every roll of film I get up to 40 scenes of normal duration. I really enjoy my camera.

I dedicate this retablo to the Virgin Protectress for helping me to collect some money and buy a puppet for ventriloquism. Her name is Paulita, and I have a tremendous success with her. We have all the theaters filled where we appear with our performance of magic, dances, conjuring and mariachi music.
