I thank the Archangel of the Neighborhood for the luck of meeting on my path these great women who earn their living by selling pleasures on the streets of Merced. They have inspired me to paint their stories and experiences in this old profession. I thank the Archangel of the Neighborhood for guiding my son Pancho on the righteous way. In such young age he was already an alcoholic, and it was breaking our hearts. He got involved with bad company and had a lot of problems. He made all family suffer, because we love him so much. With all his heart, he swore to stop drinking. We ask you to help him in that.

I thank the Archangel of the Neighborhood for the gentleman withdrew his complaint that my son was damaging his property. He was caught drawing graffiti on this man’s house. I was scared the police would do something with my son because of the manner in which they arrested him. I entrusted him, and the next day he got released. He payed for the damage learned the lesson what is the respect of the others’ rights means.
