I thank the Holy Child of Prague because since I found out this cute hat—which, as I was told, had been made either in Denmark or Australia—my life has changed. I bought eyeglasses in tortoise shell, a black frock coat with an emblem, then I grew a beard and always wear the same shirt and a strap. Now I look like a college professor or a lawyer.

In my dream Saint Anthony of Padua was wearing Buddy Holly style eyeglasses.

I dedicate this retablo to the Miraculous Virgin so that one day Sarah Palin become the first woman-president of USA because she’s very beautiful and decent woman and wears glasses just like mine. Also I’ve heard she loves tacos.

I bought cool old glasses on a market. But when I put them on I saw that all people were skeletons. I was scared. But when I took the glasses off it all came back to normal. When I wore them I saw only skeletons. I thank the Virgin for it happened because of the glasses. I wouldn’t want to see only skeletons all the time.
