Today, December 31, 1950, I, Leopoldo Gutierrez, thank you, my Lord, for my release. I was accused in crime I hadn’t committed. I didn’t lose my faith in you, and I prayed. Now, when my innocence was cleared, I bring this retablo.

St. Charbel, thank you for your favors.

One day I met Isidro at a dance. We had a drink, we chatted for a while and we fell in love with each other. But Isidro surprised me when he asked me to slap him in the face and to kiss after that. I thought he was kidding me. Some time later I moved to his place. And one night, before going to sleep, he asked me to spank his ass with a board. I refused, but he insisted. He said that if I really loved him, I had to spank him. Otherwise, I should leave him. Needless to say, I fell in love with a masochist.

Mariana Flores met Teresa. She admired her beauty and couldn’t do anything but constantly think of her. It was too much for her, so she confessed her love to Teresa. Teresa was stunt and told that she was feeling the same. We start to have relationship, and we became very happy. We thank the Holy Child of Atocha for the great luck of meeting one another.

Saint Jude Thaddeus, I thank you for your support. My masochistic partner had a doubt about his desires. We argued heatedly about it, until the day of the breaking up came. However, four months later he couldn’t stand the separation, and thanks to Saint Jude we returned to each other. He realized what he wanted and accepted who he was. So now, before going to sleep, he asks me to spank him really good.

Saint Jude Thaddeus, thank you for all your favors.

Finally we can do what we obtained to do. Now we can get married. We all, gays and lesbians, asked for our respect and to not discriminate us. We’re thanking that it’s happened. So now we can hide no more to love each other.

On the Day-D in june 1944 we disembarked in Normandy. I saw many of my brother-in-arms dying. I entrusted myself to Our Lord Jesus Christ and now I’m an american citizen. I’m thanking for all favors that I’ve received.
