On the day of the blessing of the animals, I sent my children to the town so the priest would bless our small animals. When they were returning home, a huge eagle thought that our animals looked very delicious. It flew down to catch any of them, but as they already had the blessing they were protected by it, and the Virgin scared the eagle who flew away with an empty stomach.

An eagle tried to take one of our sheep but thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe had to drop it because it was too heavy, and the animal didn’t get hurt very much by falling down.

When we went for a picnic, we climbed a mountain and found a perfect place, almost like a cradle, to put our baby in while we were arranging things. But it turned out to be an eagle nest. Thank to the Virgin the animal thought it was his own son and didn’t hurt him. We dedicate this retablo to the Holy Virgin of Guadalupe for such a great miracle.

An eagle used to kill the chicken at our small farm. I prayed the Lord of the Wonders and he, in his infinite goodness, made the eagle fly away from our places. It never came back, so I thank.

That day, a giant eagle caught one of my sheep which could have given me a big damage. Then I begged your name, Maria, and he dropped it.

An eagle used to take my pigs. But one day when it caught my piglet, I got so mad, I started to kick it with the broom and then I threw the broom into it. I hit it so hard, that the eagle dropped his pray. I thank the Virgin for the piglet fell into the drinking trough and didn’t get hurt. And the eagle never came back.

Virgin, I thank you because the eagle who stole my animals dropped my piglet but it wasn’t hurt. Thank you, Virgin.

We went to the town to sell our animals. On our way a big eagle appeared to us. It wanted to eat our animals. So we asked the Virgin of San Juan for protection and for her intervention right away. The Virgin made us this favor. She scared the bird away, and then we arrived to the town and sold the animals on the market. And on our way back home we didn’t meet the eagle either.
