I, Marinita Costa, offer this exvoto thanking the Virgin of the Sea for looking after little turtles’ babies and for making me realize that the sea is a house and not just a giant pool. I beg and implore for forgiveness for those times when I threw Coca-Cola light bottles with love messages inside in the sea. I wish I stay an old maid for this stupidity.

Federico Ramirez was swimming in the sea, and a shark was going to attack him. But then a wonderful miracle happened, and a group of turtles sent by the Virgin of Zapopan stepped in. The turtles began to swim around the shark, and Federico managed to escape. He gives infinite thanks to the Holy Virgin.

I thank the cosmos for helping me to be happy and make music all over the place. Once I was a normal turtle who works and pays the rent but one day I decided to go out to the world and become who I really was.

I was attacked by crocodiles and turtles that came out of sea. Thanks for they didn’t hurt me.

I thank the Virgin of Zapopan. When we moved to the coast, my daughter met new friends and was happy. Also she found her vocation in marine biology, since she loved turtles.
