Because of a very powerful hurricane that hit our town, the river bursted its banks and I was trapped in my truck with my little dog. I give infinite thanks to Saint Rita with this retablo because the rescue team came in time and saved me and my little dog Canela.

After the hurricane my sons and I found a lot of wounded animals around our house. We cured them, gave them food and some of them stayed with us. I think they told to other animals about us because many others animals began to come to our house for healing or for some water from the well. We thank the Virgin of Zapopan because the animals thank us working for us or giving milk and eggs or simply showing their love and keeping us company.

Andres Ortega thanks the Virgin of the Solitude with this retablo because no damage was done to his house during the strong hurricane. He also asks to give him strength to help his less fortunate neighbors.
