The northern group “The Brave Ones from Apodaca” gives thanks to Saint Cecily for the miracle of recording their first album. They were paying for years at festivals and private events, and one day a musical producer heard them. He offered them a good contract with a label. Thus their dream came true. They dedicate this humble retablo for that.

2009

Leonardo Gutierrez was performing at the concert for Confederation of Unions and fell in love with a girl who turned out to be the union leader’s girlfriend. Leonardo thanks Saint Cecily for he wasn’t killed and only got both of his legs broken, but the girl stays with him.

The mariachi band “Sun of Tecamachalco” thanks Saint Cecily with this retablo because she finally made Lupita, our singer, understand that she was a horrible singer and with her howl we were only loosing clients and offers. Now we are better. Since Lupita dedicated herself to the trumpet we are very happy.

The mariachi band “Son of Tlaquepaque” thanks Saint Cecily with this retablo for made our singer Lupita, who sings so badly, understand that because of her howling we were losing clients and she’d better play the trumpet. So now the things are going better, and we’re happy.
