I’m a carpenter and make traditional wooden toys for many years now. I wholeheartedly dedicate the present exvoto to the Holy Child of Atocha thanking him for these toys aren’t forgotten, and I also ask that, in spite of the modern and technological toys, the parents of this generation would buy my toys because they encourage creativity and imagination.

I give infinite thanks to Saint Anthony of Padua for sending a good woman to my life. I got married very young, but got a bad wife. She left me for another man. I became very disappointed and took refuge in my carpenter job for many years. But one beautiful day I met Carmelita and I believed in love again. We are very happy. May you be blessed.

My father and I went to work to the United States and worked as carpenters. We give infinite thanks to Saint Martin the Cavalryman for we returned to our country. With all the money we made, we opened our own carpentry shop in our town, and we have a lot of work.

The carpenter Facundo Meneses thanks Saint Francis with this retablo because he had to work for the artist Frida and repaired some furniture for her. She was very satisfied.
