I admired a famous model of men’s magazines. She was my platonic love. I dedicate this retablo to the Lord of the Wonders because one day she entered my repair shop when her car had broken down near by. It was the best day of my life. My dream to meet her came true, and she even gave me her autograph, and I took a photo with her.

My father and I went to work to the United States and worked as carpenters. We give infinite thanks to Saint Martin the Cavalryman for we returned to our country. With all the money we made, we opened our own carpentry shop in our town, and we have a lot of work.

I was looking over the beautiful shaped legs of the girl from the flower shop near my car service and didn’t notice an opened manhole on the street and that I was going to fell into it. I than Saint Clare for the blows weren’t so bad, it was the situation itself was embarrassing. I promise not to be such a voyeur anymore.

With devotion, I’m thanking the Virgin of Guadalupe for a miracle that I’m still working in my shoe-repair shop. I had some difficulties in my business and was ready to close my shop. But now everything’s going well again. Sometimes I had so much work, I can’t cope with it.

When I retired, I felt lost, decayed and bored, but I recaptured my old liking of repairing toys and I dove in it. First, I repaired the toys of my grandchildren, and now I already put a shop and accept works of the whole city. My grandchildren are happy and they help me in what they can. I feel useful and necessary because we are not many—those who are devoted to this occupation. I feel blissful seeing old and broken toys taking new life in my hands. I thank the Virgin from Guadalupe for this new opportunity.
