Ramiro Castillo participated in the last regional duck hunting competition. From the bottom of his heart, he thanks Saint Patrick with this humble retablo because thanks to his excellent skills and his experience with a riffle he took the first place. He promises to come back the next year and defend his championship.

Juanita went to the river to swim and suddenly she saw an enormous crocodile who was staring at her with his little greedy eyes like at a delicious treat. She prayed Saint Barbara asking for her protection. The noise made by ducks come flying distracted the crocodile, so Juanita could escape and get up quickly on the rocks. She thanks for she didn’t end up in the crocodile’s stomach.

My kitchen was filled with cockroaches. My cat was very lazy to catch them. I didn’t know how to get rid of them. Saint Paschal gave me an idea to bring all my farm animals to the kitchen—the pigs, the ducks, the chicken. They ate all the cockroaches saving my kitchen, although they dirtied it up a little.
