I thank God for, in 1984, I asked him to give me the strength and speed of the animals to catch the train in Ciudad Juarez that was leaving me behind because of that lady’s fault who couldn’t give me change, and the God answered me. And I, who was always the slowest in basketball, received an ovation from people when I managed to get into the carriage.

I was at the slaughter in Ciudad Juarez on April 2 and survived because I hid myself under the corpse of the Immaculate Conception who took all the bullets shot at me. I thank you, the Pure, for protecting me from certain death.

How infinite those nights when you’re waiting your daughter who went for work. You’re waiting her to come back but she never will. Like many other women who were cowardly murdered here in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. Every night I pray God to rest her soul here on earth and in his kingdom in heaven. We won’t forget them.
Not one more. Mother’s pain.

My wife was a compulsive buyer. We used to go to the mall, visiting all the shops there and buying clothes and shoes with my credit card. I was scared that I couldn’t control her. I prayed to Saint James the Apostle, and he worked a miracle. Now my Leticia is more conscious and thrifty. Her previous way of spending would’ve bankrupted me.

She was wearing sandals, so she burned her legs. In such painful moment she entrusted herself to Saint Paschal Baylon. She put an aloe oil on her burns, and the next day she was able to go back to her work routine. She brings this retablo for this miracle.

That’s how we celebrated that night till dawn with the adelitas (women soldiers) who had taken Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, with the Zaragoza brigade. Thanks to our protectress, Holy Virgin of Guadalupe, the town was surrounded to my general Francisco Villa. Saturday, November 15, 1913, there was a clear victory. Look after our women who risked their lives for this cause.

In the name of all women in the world I dedicate this ex-voto to the Holy Cross for those women who were cowardly killed in Juarez, Chihuahua. I ask you with sorrow in my heart to receive their souls and present them to paradise. And let this evil stop. Protect women from it. May all the women be blessed. One more Mexican is asking you.
