I came from the carnival celebration and was attacked by a rooster. Thanks for I won this fight.

I, Anastacio Rodriguez C., thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for helping me to achieve the dream of my life to go to the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro to look how the juicy Brazilian girls dance samba. I had been saving money for ten years, and it was worth it. I went as an organ-grinder to the south of the continent.

Following the family tradition, I participated in the Huejotzingo carnival ever since I was a child. But after a grave accident I couldn’t walk anymore. I prayed, with al my faith, to the Lord of Chalma, and he granted me healing. This year, I’m back again to participate in the celebrating of the carnival. I’m eternally grateful for that.

The inhabitants of the Alvarado town, state Veracruz, thank the Virgin of Rosary because their carnival is getting funnier and more colorful with every year. So it attracts more tourists and brings prosperity to the town.

I thank the Virgin of Chapi because, although I didn’t find a cure for my rare disease that made my skin elastic, I found a job on a carnival. I have a very nice routine and I am known as “The man with the rubber skin”.
