Fransisco Garcia lost in the sea and was cast up on an island. He’s infinitely grateful to the Virgin of Juquila with the present retablo because he survived two weeks there and was saved.

I give infinite thanks to Saint Peter with this simple exvoto for having spent the three best days of my life on a desert island with two gringo tourists. I took them for a ride, and my boat broke down, and it took a long time to rescue us, so I took a rest from cries and complaints of my crazy wife.

We came to an island where carnivores rabbits live. Thanks to the Virgin we got out of there well.

We had been on an island for three years. We fell in love with each other. And then we were saved by a plane.

After a shipwreck, I found myself on a small island. I had only a boat to fish to survive. Suddenly two beautiful mermaids appeared from the sea. They apparently were in love with me. I don’t know if it was a hallucination, my nerves or just a pleasant dream. I thank the Virgin.
