The Gonzalez family was visiting the town party. When they were coming back home after 9 p.m., they were attacked by robbers. They told the bandits they didn’t have any money. The robbers got even more angry and were treating to kill all the family. The Gonzalez entrusted themselves to the Virgin of San Juan with their hearts, and the attackers let them go without doing any harm.

I went to see Pancho, and on my way back I was attacked by a dog. It tried to bite my face and threw me down on the ground. I implored the Virgin of San Juan with the Lord’s Prayer because it seemed the demon himself attacked me Then the dog ran away and left me lying down. I didn’t have any scratch. Then I found out that the dog had rabies. I thanked and I promised to dedicate a retablo for delivering me from such disgrace of being beaten. Otherwise, it would’ve given me rabies. I bring this testimony of what happened to your feet. May you be blessed, Holy Virgin.

When we were going by the old road to San Juan de los Lagos to sell apples we met the phantasm of the headless rider. He often appears to travelers and abducts them. When we saw him, we entrusted ourselves to the Virgin of the Rosary. Thanks to her divine protection, the ghost passed by without noticing us. My husband and I turned gray after that, but we arrived to the town and sold our apples.

Federico Garcia was hit by a bus while riding a bike near by the church. Nothing happened with the bicycle, but Federico broke his leg. The doctor said that he probably would be limping for the rest of his life, because it was a very nasty fracture. But thanks to the Virgin of San Juan Federico got recovered and now walks without problem.
