I was coming back home after buying a piglet, when a devil made my horse to stumble on the rocks. That devil had been following me for days, doing his shenanigans. There were a lot of cacti in that place where my horse stumbled. But thanks to the Virgin nor the horse, nor the piglet, nor I fell into them but landed on the grass. After that accident I bought a medallion of the Virgin of Zapopan, and the furious devil had to leave me in peace.

Rogelio Mendez and Gloria Lopez got drunk and went to the mountains to have sex. But he was so drunk he climbed up the nopal cactus. He thanks Saint Francis with this retablo for he got cured from the infection that he got after multiple pricks.

When Matilda Corona went to gather some prickly pears, a nagual appeared to her. The nagual started to persuade her to go with him and he promised her a treasure. Matilda thanks the Virgin of Guadalupe because she realized that the nagual was lying. She didn’t accept his proposition and didn’t fall in his trap. Matilda came back home, and the nagual never bother her since.

Delfino Gonzalez was learning how to ride a horse, and the horse threw him off right on cactuses. He got seriously hurt. Delfino thanks Saint Jude for his quick recovery and also because he’s learned the right way to ride.
