I dedicate this exvoto to Saint Claire for the excellent work of Thomas F. Wilson. His role of Biff Tannen gave many movie moments and quotes to the world. He’s probable the most beloved villain in the movie history.

I dedicate the present exvoto to Saint John Bosco in gratitude for the talent of all those responsible for the creation of the classical Hollywood monster movies. When I was little I used to watch these great films and I became a fan. Even today I still enjoy watching them on DVD.

I thank the Lord of the Wonders with this exvoto for having participated in the Day of the Dead Parade this year. It was a unique experience full of colors and joy. We share this beautiful tradition with the entire world, and I ask for health to be able to participate again the next year.

Señorita Rosalia Gutierrez had an accident in which she broke her ankle. She couldn’t walk for months. She dedicates this retablo to the Virgin of Juquila wholeheartedly thanking her for she was able to recover in time to participate in the Pineapple Flower dance at the Guelaguetza celebration. May you be blessed.

I dedicate this exvoto to Saint Genesius, saint patron of the actors, for the movie “We, the poor”. When I was little we lived in a communal neighborhood because my family lived a very modest life. Now, when I grew up, I watch this movie and I relate to its characters. I remember that, despite poverty and social injustice, the family union is the most important thing.

I give infinite thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe for the creativity and artistic talent of the Mexican people. They can find beauty even in this tragic moment when the country is fighting against COVID-19, and these embroidered masks show it.

When Michaela and Jorge went on board of a cruise ship, Michaela got so sick she spent four days in bed. Fortunately, Saint Christopher was so kind to cure her again, and on the fifth day she was able to walk around the beautiful city of Porto. However, she was still weak so she made many stops at the nice small town cafes. At the end it was much better than sit in a bus doing a tourist trip.

We thank the patron of the clowns, Saint Genesius of Rome, for our participation in the Public Transport campaign against COVID-19 “Do not let the clown take you” in which we gave out masks and antibacterial gel at the most busy metro stations exhorting “If you’re going in subway, put a mask on right away”.

With great humbleness, I dedicate this ex-voto to Saint Francis of Assisi thanking those who support Linda Blair’s WordHeart Foundation. Blessed are those who help the animals because their love will return to them hundredfold.

Since Donald Trump began his term as the president of the United States, he dedicate himself to persecuting and attacking thousands of Mexicans—us who honestly work in his country. He deported me and my companions separating us from our families. I beg the Virgin of Guadalupe that Trump wouldn’t win the next election in November.

I dedicate this exvoto to Saint Vincent for the movie “Planet of the Apes”. This movie excited and scared me when I was little. Incredible costumes and decorations made my imagination work overtime. Even now I have many good memories about this sci-fi classic.
