Holy Face of God, deliver us from the evil and to not make us suffer. Lord Jesus Christ, bless my house, my family, my kids and all houses in the world.

In 20 years of me working as a teacher, the kids made me cry few times because of their bad behavior and indifference. But those sad moments are compensated when the kids show their love and compassion. It feels very nice to see that the efforts have given the results and the kids are learning and developing. I thank the Virgin for these very joyful moments.

We thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for having guided us during our peyote trip in the desert in which we saw various wonders such as flowers of incandescent light and improbable animals that showed us the way and illuminated our path. We came back from this trip much wiser and more tolerant to the other human beings, and also more understanding.

Retablo to the goddess Mayahuel. Thank you for the granted gifts. Thank you, Lady, for your sweet and strong favors.

I am not dedicating no retablo to no saint or Christ or Virgin because they let my down and dirty like a crawfish rumbling back in his goddamn hole!

Thanks for this day.

When I discovered that my boyfriend is a nagual who can turn into different animals I got scared. I was about to leave him. I thank Saint Francis because he helped me to realize that being different doesn’t make a person better or worse but just different. When I suddenly understood it my boyfriend turned into a giant cat.

The Miguel Hernández’ world

I went to the desert to eat some peyote. Suddenly I saw a monster approaching to me. I was scared to death, but then the monster started talking with me about the life, the love and the beauty. His words came out from his mouth as colorful flowers. I wasn’t thinking about him as a monster anymore, but as an enlightened being. I felt myself happy and calm, and this feeling didn’t leave for months after that. I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for this amazing experience.
