I met a handsome young man on the beach in Puerto Vallarta. I began to suspect that he was gay, because whenever he passed by he glanced at me smiling. Also he preferred pink towels. I thank Saint Anthony, the patron saint of lovers, for I took the liberty of talking with him. So now we’re a couple.

I thank the Virgin of San Juan for giving me courage to run away with my boyfriend. Our friend helped us to go live together far away so our parents can’t punish us.

One day I found out that my boyfriend fell in love with my brother. I was insulted, offended, disappointed and very angry. But thanks to Saint Michael Archangel I met Jose Antonio and fell madly in love with him. Now I think it’s very nice that my brother and David love each other and are happy together, as I am. I dedicate this retablo to Saint Michael in gratitude.

Paco & Omar offer this retablo to Saint Sebastian for their second anniversary of being together, in spite of the fact that our families were against our relationship. It proves that love can do everything.

We thank Saint Sebastian because the Law for Coexistence Partnerships gave to us, two men in love, right to live as a couple in marriage without hiding our love from the public and without being ashamed for our love.

Saint Jude Thaddeus, thank you for all your favors.

Finally we can do what we obtained to do. Now we can get married. We all, gays and lesbians, asked for our respect and to not discriminate us. We’re thanking that it’s happened. So now we can hide no more to love each other.
