April 27, 1916, I, under the name of Sebastiano Farello Francesco, born in Bitetto, was crossing the bridge over the Erie Canal Rome—New York demonstrated here when I stumbled and fell down in the water and stones from a height of 20 spans. On the threshold of imminent danger, with all my faith I implored the Holy Maria of the Well to help me. She worked the miracle, and I escaped the danger unhurt. And, to my surprise, even the bicycle wasn’t damaged.

I dedicate this retablo to El Niñopa from Xochimilco because I can jump over any mariachi with my BMX bike thanks to him.

May 24, 1951, in the morning, Jasinto Diaz was delivering bread, and he was hit by a car. He thanks the Virgin of Zapopan for he is recovering and for his legs didn’t get hurt.

I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for sending me relief from my painful arthritis right in time, when I needed. So I could take this important ride that we had dreamt about for months. I asked for that with all my heart, and the Virgin granted my wish. We had a marvelous day. I was so happy to move again and to do sports. This favor was so special for me.

The young man Antonio Romero was participating in a nude bicycle race. He kept gazing at one very nice girl and crashed into a car. He hurt his balls. He thanks St. Philip Neri for the recovery.

The Death was riding bike down our street. We were frightened guessing whom he came after. We prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan for not letting the Death take anyone. The Holy Virgin heard our prayers, because we haven’t seen the Death in our neighborhood afterwards. Because no one died, we dedicate the retablo.

Federico Garcia was hit by a bus while riding a bike near by the church. Nothing happened with the bicycle, but Federico broke his leg. The doctor said that he probably would be limping for the rest of his life, because it was a very nasty fracture. But thanks to the Virgin of San Juan Federico got recovered and now walks without problem.
