I was very ill with high fever, and the Grim Reaper in person appeared in front of my bed. I tried to scare him with a crucifix, but since he’s not a vampire or the devil, he didn’t paid much attention and continued to crouch over my bed. Then my dog came running to my bedroom, very excited to see so many tasty bones. The dog jumped on Death’s leg. Death was horrified by thinking of being gnawed by a dog and ran away. I felt better then and healed. I’m grateful for staying alive.

One day my house was invaded by bats, but thanks to Saint Quiteria I’d went to the movies to see “Dracula” a day before, so they didn’t catch me by surprise. I put a garlic collar on my cat and amend myself with a cross so they wouldn’t suck our blood. We defended ourselves until the saint threw all these infernal beasts out of my house which I asked her for with devotion. I thank for her protection.

Lord Jesus of the heaven, my mommy told me I got to ask you to forgive me because the other day she caught me stroking my cock in my room in front of your holy cross and you got very angry with me. She said I lack respect to you, but it’s not true because I didn’t see that you could see me from your cross. Please forgive me, Christ Jesus, and I won’t touch myself in front of you ever again.

I was sick and was laying in the bed. One night, the Death came to my bedroom with the scythe, ready to take my life. I grabbed the crucifix to scare the Death, but he saw so many of them, he didn’t care. But my dog, however, seeing the bony legs and thinking that it was her dinner, ran joyfully for them. The Death got scared, ran away and never came back. Next morning I felt better. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for saving my life.

I didn’t understand my dream at all but it looked a lot like one of those Mexican retablos with a guy on a hospital bed with a doctor and a nurse by his side and Jesus Christ crucified to the left.

One night my daughter and I went to visit my friend and bring her some jam. Suddenly the ghost of the woman drowned in the lake appeared to us. By the legend, she killed herself because of treason and now tries to grab people and drag them to the bottom of the lake with her. I grabbed my crucifix and prayed the Virgin of the Rosary to exorcise the apparition. The ghost seemed to get scared and disappeared. We thank the Holy Virgin.

One night my daughter and I went to visit my grandmother to bring her some marmalades. Suddenly the ghost of the drowned woman appeared from the lake. The legend says that she committed suicide for a betrayal of love, and she tries to drag people to the bottom of the lake, for revenge. I grabbed my crucifix and implored the Virgin of the Rosary so that she would cast the ghost out. The ghost got scared and disappeared. We thank to the Virgin.

When I returned home after a trip, I found a vampire sleeping in my bed. This monster even used my pink sheets. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan, because I was so angry that I had no fear at all. I grabbed a crucifix from the wall and came close to the vampire. The monster got scared, he ran away and never came back.

Saturday night, my friend Luisa and I went to see a horror film. After the movie we went in a dark alley and there we saw with fear the vampiress flying towards us. She was about to attack us, but I grabbed the crucifix that I wore on my neck. The monster got scared and ran away. We ran to my house and locked ourselves inside till the next day. We thank the Virgin of San Juan for the vampiress didn’t suck our blood out.

When I was sick, some horrible demons appeared in my bedroom. They were burning and smoking. I thank the Virgin for giving me enough strength to grab the crucifix that scared them away. They almost burnt my room <…>

Please, Randall… it is my turn to hold the crucifix.
