San Sebastian, I offer you this retablo, because Veronica agreed to live with me. We thank to you for our happiness. Now we can live without hiding our relationship.

I thank the Virgin of Zapopan. When we moved to the coast, my daughter met new friends and was happy. Also she found her vocation in marine biology, since she loved turtles.

Our new neighbor had an enormous and angry dog that scared my cats. I was afraid that one day it could kill one of them. So I prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan for protection, and thanks to her the neighbor didn’t stay for long here. He found a much better house on the other side of the town. He moved there, delivering my cats from his beast.

Rodolfo Perez, a caricaturist, was beaten and thrown in jail for a caricature of the governor. With this retablo, he thanks Saint Patrick because he got out alive, and he decided it was better to move in another state.

Because of financial problems, we had to move to the outskirts of the town to live with aunt Cleotilda. My girls were scared because on their way to school they had to go through the old, abandoned cemetery. There were a lot of horrific stories about the cemetery. They were so frightened, they refused to go to the school. But thanks to the Virgin of the Rosary my husband found a good job, so we can moved back to the town. We thank for that.
