When we were coming back home from the town fair, a terrible nagual appeared in our way. It was big as a cow and it was fluttering in front of us. I was afraid he would harm my children so I invoked to Saint Michael the Archangel who came with his shinning sword. When the nagual saw him he fled in fear. I thank for the miracle.

I thank God because my son Juanito has recovered from the fright he had when a nagual appeared to him in form of an enormous black dog near the coal tower for being rude to his father who sent him that night to put more woods to the coal tower. The dog dragged him till the river. When he came back, all wallowed and in tears, he asked us for forgiveness, telling everything that happened, and then fell into the bed. I entrust his recovery to Our Lord, and he granted my wish.

I got a message that my grandmother was seriously ill in a neighboring village and that I had to hurry to see her. As it was very late and there was no bus, I decided to walk with my kids. It was a long way, and my son who was still very young, was tired. I was exhausted as well because I had to carry the baby. Then a friendly and beautiful nagual appeared to us. He told us not to worry, that my grandmother was better and we could take a rest. We sat down for a while, and the luminous nagual surrounded by shiny insects told us beautiful stories. Having rested, we continue our journey, and when we arrived my grandmother was much better and very happy to see us. I thank the Virgin for this miracle.

Señora Nadina woke up in her house and saw the nagual taking away her favorite slippers. The poor thing almost fainted from fear but implored the Holy Virgin of Zapopan who sent a beam of light. The nagual dropped a slipper and went hiding under the table.

Victor and Cesar Martinez, we dedicate this to Saint Francis because we were fucking scared when that damned nagual appeared to us and gave us a tremendous chase. It even made us sober up and shit so tremendously that nothing could stop it. But now we are safe and healthy. We promise not to drink anymore.

I went to San Luis desert to gather peyote. I ate some and prepared for a night. It was cold, I started drinking mezcal to warm up myself. Then a magic animal, an incandescent nagual appeared in front of me. He guided me through a marvelous magic trip full of light and hallucinating colors. I never forget what I felt, saw and learnt that night. I thank for living it through till the dawn with so much intensity.

Señora Nadina was having breakfast at the terrace of her fazenda when came the nagual with big ears who bared his teeth and was breathing warmly. She thanks the Virgin of Zapopan because the nagual only wanted to eat the apple tarts from the table and not her.

We live far from the town, and my little son had no kids in the neighborhood to play with. One day he told me he got a friend. I thought it was an imaginary friend, but then I saw, to my surprise and fear, that it was a big nagual whom he played with. The creature looked friendly but any way I felt scared and prayed to the Virgin asking for help. The help came when the daughter of our close neighbor Don Romo came to live with him with her three children who made friendship with my son. The nagual got scared with so many people and didn’t approach my son again. Next year my son will go to school, and he’ll have many more friends.

A nagual jumped out on the road and wanted us to take him to his home. We took him there. Thanks for he didn’t harm us.
