I dedicate this retablo to the Miraculous Virgin of Guadalupe because on my 15-th birthday party, Maria Daniela and Andria performed but at the end of the song they reveled their true vampire identity. Luckily, I have my anti-vampire kit under my dress and I was able to beat them.

One night a bat got into my room and started flying around. I was afraid it would bite me and turn me into a vampire. But my cat wasn’t scared, he caught the bat and ate it. I thank Saint Nino, patroness saint of tutors, because I managed to raise such a clever and brave cat.

Two handsome men moved in our building. But then we found out that they turn into horrible vampires at night and fly out of the window to sate their thirst with young girls. My boyfriend and I thank the Virgin of San Juan for we aren’t two juicy chicks.

I was intrigued until one night I went to the kitchen for a glass of water and found out that a vegetarian vampire was the thief. I thank the Virgin of San Juan because my dog barked and growled and bit him. The vampire got so scared, he never came back. So it wouldn’t occur to him to change his diet and to suck my blood.

Little Pedro Sanchez got in a cave and was attacked by vampires. He got very sick after that. He prayed to Saint Nicholas and got cured. He thanks for that.

The Carlota Valdez’s house was filled with bats. They were flying over her bed and brought her nightmares. Carlota was scared that they might be vampires and could suck her and her cat’s blood and that she and her cat would become living dead for ever. Carlota was so distressed, she prayed Saint Quiteria for protection. The saint worked the miracle, and the bats flew to live in another place. Carlota thanks for that with this retablo.

When I returned home after a trip, I found a vampire sleeping in my bed. This monster even used my pink sheets. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan, because I was so angry that I had no fear at all. I grabbed a crucifix from the wall and came close to the vampire. The monster got scared, he ran away and never came back.

Saturday night, my friend Luisa and I went to see a horror film. After the movie we went in a dark alley and there we saw with fear the vampiress flying towards us. She was about to attack us, but I grabbed the crucifix that I wore on my neck. The monster got scared and ran away. We ran to my house and locked ourselves inside till the next day. We thank the Virgin of San Juan for the vampiress didn’t suck our blood out.

The kitchen was filled with bats. I was afraid that they were vampires and they’d suck blood from our family. I thank Saint Francis for we managed to get rid of them before they bit us. However, it seems they bit our cat, but it didn’t turn into a vampire cat. I thank the saint patron with this retablo.
