Alfredo Gutierrez thanks the Lord of Chalma for giving him a strong diarrhea, because of what he was late for his work as a waiter in a restaurant in the Twin Towers in New York. So he was saved from dying.

We, Jose, Luis and Pablo Martinez, dedicate this retablo to the Virgin of Juquila. Our border crossing guide left us but then came back. So we managed to get to New York and make a lot of dollars. Now we are going back to Mexico and we thank you for protecting us during these three years abroad.

Mrs. Debbie Nathan dedicates this retablo to her colleagues from MCLAP (Mexican Capital Legal Assistance Program) and to the clients who had a great courage to cross the border and one day got involved in sad situations and now they are facing the death penalty. We, from MCLAP, are fighting for our dearest clients’ lives. We are also facing the danger going in the regions terrorized by the drug-traffic. Let the forces and the spirits, natural and supernatural, protect us so we could continue to live and enjoy our lives in our neighbor countries.

I thank God for protecting 150 passengers and 5 crew members of the US Airways flight 1549 that departed at 15:03 from the New York airport LaGuardia to Charlotte (North Carolina). Because of an accident occurred three minutes after the departure the pilot Chesley Sullenberger managed to land the plane on the Hudson River. All aboard survived and were rescued. It was a miracle.

April 27, 1916, I, under the name of Sebastiano Farello Francesco, born in Bitetto, was crossing the bridge over the Erie Canal Rome—New York demonstrated here when I stumbled and fell down in the water and stones from a height of 20 spans. On the threshold of imminent danger, with all my faith I implored the Holy Maria of the Well to help me. She worked the miracle, and I escaped the danger unhurt. And, to my surprise, even the bicycle wasn’t damaged.

I thank you, Virgin of Guadalupe, for saving me during the terrorist attack on The Twin Towers.
