One dark night, I was coming back from the San Martin fair with my donkeys. Suddenly the sly was lightened with many lightnings. With that light I could see that I was near a cliff and almost fell off. I thank the Virgin of San Juan for lighting up my way.

I thank Saint Francis for all my animals have learned to live together without fighting and attacking each other. So we are a beautiful family.

Fernando Tapia was very sick and couldn’t go out to the toilet. So he was making his business in a chamber pot. Suddenly a scorpion appeared from the pot and sat on a Fernando’s butt-cheek. He entrusted himself to the Lord of the Miracles so that the scorpion wouldn’t sting him and deteriorate his condition even more. Since the Lord made that miracle, Fernando offers this retablo.

Teresita Robledo, a little girl, thanks the Virgin of San Juan with this retablo for the firefighters saved her three kittens from the fire.

The music is a very important to our family, and it’s with us every day. Even our animals enjoy the music, and there are more singing birds in our garden than in any other. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for all this harmony and because my children are also good musicians.

The little goat of my daughter Silvana ran on the road and was hit by a track. It was in very bad condition, and we prayed the Virgin of Zapopan so that the poor animal would survive. The Virgin worked the miracle, and few weeks later the goat got cured. Now it’s like a new one—runs and jumps. We offer this retablo for that.

I had a successful career, I had money, position in society, property, women. But I wasn’t happy at all. I left all of this. Now I’m selling newspapers at a corner. I live under a bridge. My best friends are three cats and a lame dog. I do not need anything else. I’m happy when I see the sun rising in the morning, or the stars in the night sky, when I feel cool wind on my skin or warming sun lights. I’m alive. And tomorrow… I really do not care about tomorrow. I’m grateful to the Virgin of Zapopan for my new life and my inner harmony.

Señora Ana Maria Perez went to the circus, and an element got mad there. It grabbed her with its trunk and threw away. She thanks the Virgin of Guadalupe for surviving and recovering.

Our puppy is very naughty. One day he was trying to catch a butterfly, jumped from the window and fell from the second floor. We thank Saint Francis because he fell on señora Casilda and didn’t hurt himself. We dedicate this retablo for that miracle.

Foxes had been eating my turkeys. Then the Virgin of Zapopan gave an idea to my daughter to buy some geese. The geese attacked the foxes and drove them away. We thank the Holy Virgin because the foxes never came back.

My brother, a colorful fox and I are very happy.

Carlos Perez after waiting for so long finally was given an assistance dog. Now he can use even the subway. He thanks Saint Jude Thaddeus with this retablo for that big favor.

Holy Virgin of Esther, thank you for the miracle of delivering me from those horrible nightmares when I saw a couple of living dead with their bony pets.
