Delfino Ortega got drunk and started to flirt with a transvestite. He thanks Saint Anthony for he realized it in time. He promises from now on to look for entertaining in more decent places.

I thank Saint Sebastian because Ray proposed to me after one year of living together, although his family doesn’t accept our relationship. I offer this retablo for this.

I, Carlos, dedicate this retablo to Saint Sebastian because after so many years I finally look like I feel.. like a woman. Also I thank you because my family accepted me for who I am.

I thank my dear Saint Dominic for giving me courage to decide on a sex change and to perform french songs with my guitar. Now I’m going on a tour to Mexico and the north of Guatemala.

The Nicolas Gutierrez’s friends arranged a bachelor party for him. But instead of a chick they gave him a transvestite. He thanks Saint Patrick for he noticed it in time and didn’t make a laughing stock of himself.

I had a lot of problems with my family. But the Virgin worked the miracle, and they accepted my homosexuality.

I dedicate this retablo to the Virgin of Carmel because ever since I was little I wanted to be a man, in spite of being born a girl. Thanks to the Virgin I decided to leave my husband and my kids and to move to the capital where I started to work as a lift attendant in a luxurious skyscraper.

Virgin of Guadalupe, thank you for not letting a client cut me with a bottle when, on our way to the hotel, he realized that I’m not a woman. I entrusted myself to you in this danger and now I’m all right.

I thank Saint Sebastian for saving me from being hit to death by a client, who on our way to the hotel noticed that I wasn’t a woman. I prayed to you in this misfortune and now I’m all right.

I was coming back from a party when I met a couple of bastards. They wanted to beat me for being dude. I entrusted myself to you, Virgin of San Juan, asking to not let them do harm to me. Then a man arrived and defended me.
