Señor Toribio Ventura born in Puebla is infinitely grateful to the Holy Virgin Mary of Guadalupe for having recovered his bulls that had been pawned so he could work on his fields. He asks you a lot to send him a good wheat harvest and the wheat did better than ever. With the gathered crop he ordered to make this retablo asking to bless his yoke and so that his seeds would never lack rain. Glory to the Holy Mother!

I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for the miracle that my children, who had gone to the other side as illegals, returned to our village and now we all together work with our livestock, for which I dedicate this retablo.

We thank the Virgin of San Juan and the little Child of Atocha for giving us the whole corn harvest. We can sell it and get married. We only ask for health to be able to keep on working on our lands.

Don Luciano Jimenez dedicate this humble retablo to the Virgin of Zapopan, as a token of gratitude, because he had good harvest of agaves this year. There was bad weather in the region the last season and he lost big part of his crop. It worried him very much because he and all his family depends on the agaves.

I want to thank the Holy Lord of Chalma because I got my lands back and I’ve started to cultivate my agaves and sell pulque to live properly. The land was my inheritance left me by my father before his death. But my uncles took possession of it. I begged you to admit my rights, and you did it for me.
