In 2020, I was on vacation in Tulum. When I was swimming underwater near the corals, a monster fish appeared. I instinctively began to kick with my legs, and that moment I prayed the Brow-skin Girl of Tepeyac who calmed me down. And when the fish was about to bite me, it turned around and went away. I testify about what happened in the town of Tulum, Mexico, in the month of July, the year 2020.

1938, Baja California, a diver Rodrigo Rivera ran into a bloodthirsty shark that started chasing him. He brings this retablo to the Child of Atocha thanking for the shark didn’t have him on dinner.

Herlindo Ortiz thanks with this retablo. When we went for fishing we were attacked by some enormous sea monsters.

I was swimming when an enormous fish began to swallow me. I was so scared I began to pray the Holy Heart for help. Suddenly the monster had a hiccup and I escaped from it.

August 6, 2000, I was diving in Tulum. I was alone and everything was going great. When the evening came and I decided to get out and come back, I felt the presence of sharks. I was getting in the boat when one of them caught my leg. Seeing it, I implored the Holy Heart. I stretched for the harpoon, grabbed it and shot. Although the shark took my leg, I took its life.

Juan Chuk was fishing in his little boat in the area of Ojo Azul and fell asleep for a moment. He was very much surprised feeling the kick in the boat, he thought it was a dream. An enormous octopus, green and monstrous, climbed in the boat and was reaching for him. Horrified, he started praying the Dark-skinned Lady of Tepeyac and saw two little angels who appeared to help him in his fight against the creature. The octopus went away and took the net with the catch of the day. Juan thanks for stying alive and dedicate this retablo.

When I crossed the town square it started raining so terribly and so heavy that one couldn’t see around. Suddenly the fish began falling down. I had no idea what to do and where to go. Thanks to the Virgin I saw a light. I went towards it, and it was the bakery door. I waited inside with my baby and my dog until this strange deluge stopped. I thank the Virgin for guiding my way.

I’m infinitely thankful to Saint Sebastian for the miracle of getting alive from a shark attack during my vacation in Mexico.

The surfer Jose Perez was about to be eaten by a shark. He prayed Saint Francis and got to the shore safe and sound. He brings the retablo for that.
