My mother-in-law always criticized my food because she didn’t like me as a daughter-in-law. It was very difficult for me when we were eating. I was in such despair so I entrusted myself to Saint Paschal. Little by little she changed her attitude towards me. Now she even admits that I cook very well, and we live in holy peace. May you be blessed.

I decided to put offerings for my late wife on the Day of the Dead and prepared her favorite dishes. On that night I heard someone calling me. When I came to the kitchen I saw that it was my wife telling me off because the food was too salty. I thank God for it was only one time that night when I saw my grumpy wife again because she was unbearable in real life.

I was teaching my daughter to cook because she was about to get married. We were chatting and didn’t notice that we had left such a strong flame that the kitchen got on fire. I was very upset and implored Saint Paschal for help. I found a pot with water and splashed it avoiding a much bigger fire. I fervently thank for that.

I was doing my household chores at the kitchen. When I turned to mop, I saw some filthy rats getting in, with some nerve I’d never seen, through the drain and the window. My cat Ramona got frightened and hid behind my skirts. Seeing such a great disaster, I implored the Blessed Apostle for his mercy. Then I started to hit the rats with my broom, and they turned back and went back to where they came from.
