I married the man whom I love on the sunny day when the air had a smell of happiness. Even the flock of doves flew over us when we came out the church making this day the most special and the most marvelous one. The one I will remember for ever. I thank Saint Anthony for my happiness.

I almost made the biggest mistake of my life when I was going to marry Maria Luisa. But there was Luis standing outside the church. When I looked in his eyes I couldn’t resist and we ran away leaving my bride and her parents. They had a nervous breakdown. I thank the Virgin of San Juan because I didn’t ruin three lives. Now I’m happy with my boyfriend, and Maria Luisa already has a new suitor.

On the day of Gilberto’s and mine wedding I ask the Virgin of Guadalupe for a sign that our marriage would be happy. When we went out of the church a lot of doves flew to us. I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for this sign and for our present and future happiness.

I was, at the insistence of my parents, about to marry a man whom I didn’t love and didn’t even like. But Saint Anthony gave me the courage to run away with my bridesmaid. We went to the capital, and we’re happy now. We thank the saint patron.

My daughter had very bad luck with her boyfriends. All of them turned out to be scoundrels and traitors. I thank because she finally met a decent guy who loves her and wouldn’t make her suffer, like others did. Now they have got married and will be happy together. I thank Saint Anthony.

When I came out of my house to go to the church to marry my beloved Juan, I slipped on a banana peel that one of my sisters had thrown on the ground. There were a lot of puddles around because it had rained the night before, but the Virgin of Zapopan worked the miracle so I fell at the dry spot and didn’t soil my dress. To ruin my wedding dress few minutes before the most important moment of my life would’ve been horrible. I thank the Virgin because everything went well and I got married without problems.

I thank Saint Cyprian because he helped me to bewitch Quinberly Esmid. I, being very ugly, gave her a potion given to me by a sorcerer from Catemaco. She fell in love with me and now she’s my wife.

The Calderon sisters saw a ghost wearing a wedding dress. The ghost was crying in the darkness. The girls got so scared, they became ill. Their mother, doña Rosa, thanks the Virgin of Guadalupe for hearing their prayers. Now the girls got better, although they refuse to go outside at night.

After many years of relationships Heliodoro finally proposed to me. However, on the day of the wedding he changed his mind. Only thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan who whispered me about his runaway, I managed to catch him in time and brought him back to the church. We got married and now we are happy.

We thank you, Saint Sebastian, for the miracle to unite our lives before the law on March 4, 2010.

All my friends in the town had already got married, and I felt myself as an old maid. So I accepted the Rodrigo Perez’s proposal who was my suitor all my life. But on the day of the wedding, I realized that I was going to marry an incredibly boring and conservative man who can’t even dance and whom I didn’t even love. I ran from the church and went to my friend Flora. I came to her right in my wedding dress. Now I’m happy because I got a good job. I thank Saint Anthony for clearing my mind and I didn’t commit a grave error.

I was very fat, and my cousins told me that I’d never get married. But I prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan, and thanks to her Antonio began to pay me attention. We are going to get married shortly after our engagement, because he’s telling I’m the prettiest girl in the town. And I believe him.
