It was a cloudy evening, and it was blowing hard. My wife had to give birth bolero due, but we lived far from the town. Our pickup truck broke down half the way. My wife had a terrible pain, and I carried her over the hills with the strong wind blowing me in the face. Our little daughter Teresita was behind us in the darkness without seeing where to go. I was exhausted, Josefina was in a lot of pain. When I couldn’t take it anymore, I invoked the Virgin of Guadalupe, and she gave me strength to go on on and get to the town. My son is called Lupe. I dedicate this retablo for her miracle.

I was walking down the old road with my children. Suddenly a thunderstorm began. I was afraid because I knew that the river bursts its banks and floods the road when it rains heavily. I prayed the Virgin of Zapopan, and we ran against the wind and rain splashing in our faces. Thanks to the Holy Virgin we get to the house and only got our clothes soaked. I thank for our protection.

My husband bought an enormous kite for our little son Guancho. But since he’s so small when he tried to fly the kite the wind took up the kite but lifted him up of the ground as well. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because she looks after my son, so the kite dragged him just for few meters, then he landed down. The boy wasn’t hurt, he was frightened and happy of having flown.

They publish one of my story in the newspaper, and they they called me to bring more. Since I’m little bit messy, all my text were in manuscripts. I took all my papers yo let them choose what to print and went there on my bike. Right away a strong wind blew in my face, and all my papers flew away. I felt like the work of few years of my life had gone. But with a help of Saint Barbara I was able to pick up everything, and even my doggy helped me. By a miracle I didn’t lose not one list. I thank the saint for the miracle.

On a picnic, my daughter followed some butterflies and went far away from us. We were playing and didn’t notice that she wasn’t there. She didn’t know how to return and got very scared. Instead of going back she walked far away. Then she asked the Holy Spirit for help. That moment, a light breeze came up and the seeds of the dandelion that she was holding in her hand flew away. She followed them, and they brought her to where we were searching her.

Because of strong winds and rains our corral collapsed. We had to move the animals to the house, and my husband was so lazy, he didn’t repair the corral. I couldn’t stand the animals at every corner of the house. Finally the Holy Virgin made a miracle. Once my husband woke up kissing a pig thinking it was me. This made him repair the corral. I give infinite thanks for that.

Agustin Aguilar was connecting a radio antenna when a strong blow of the wind made him fell down. He thanks the Virgin of Guadalupe because his fractures have been healed and he can walk again, although he still has pains in the spine.

The north wind caught me on my way. Thanks for I escaped safely.

I thank Virgin Mary because when my pink dress in which I first kissed Dushan and which I want to wear for a date with Marco was taken by wind, there was a big palm on its way, and the dress got caught up in its branches.

I received a call from a local newspaper. They asked me to bring my texts, and I got very excited. I took all my stories and poems and went to the town on my bike. Audalia Mendez thanks the Virgin of Zapopan for sending her a presentiment about the hall storm that night. Since the roof of the stable and of the coop was blown by the wind, her animals were unprotected and left to the mercy of the inclemency of the weather. So she decided to prevent it and put them all in the house right in time because the hail storm was terrible. The animals felt safe and warm inside the house.

When my sister and I noticed a storm coming we bring the animals to the shed. We just put the donkey in when the storm began. It was so strong we couldn’t go out and run to the house. We heard the walls cracking and prayed the Virgin of Paloma so that the shed would withstand under the wind and rain because it seems it going to be blown off any minute. We thank for it withstood and protected all of us.

A group of skeletons played salsa on our roof. They rehearsed preparing for the Day of the Dead celebration. They were making a lot of unbearable noise—they were lousy musicians and the singer was completely out of tune. We prayed the Virgin of Zapopan, and a strong wind came thanks to her. It blew so strong, the skeletons began to lose their bones carrying by the wind. Their ribs flew away, so they got scared, got together the rest of their bones and ran away looking for a more quite place. And we got peace and silence after all.
