The little goat of my daughter Silvana ran on the road and was hit by a track. It was in very bad condition, and we prayed the Virgin of Zapopan so that the poor animal would survive. The Virgin worked the miracle, and few weeks later the goat got cured. Now it’s like a new one—runs and jumps. We offer this retablo for that.

I had a successful career, I had money, position in society, property, women. But I wasn’t happy at all. I left all of this. Now I’m selling newspapers at a corner. I live under a bridge. My best friends are three cats and a lame dog. I do not need anything else. I’m happy when I see the sun rising in the morning, or the stars in the night sky, when I feel cool wind on my skin or warming sun lights. I’m alive. And tomorrow… I really do not care about tomorrow. I’m grateful to the Virgin of Zapopan for my new life and my inner harmony.

Foxes had been eating my turkeys. Then the Virgin of Zapopan gave an idea to my daughter to buy some geese. The geese attacked the foxes and drove them away. We thank the Holy Virgin because the foxes never came back.

I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because my wife and I finally have a baby-boy. He take care of the family and inherit my estate when I’m gone.

I thank the Virgin of Zapopan. When I was about to drop out of medical school because I couldn’t take it anymore, the Virgin enlightened me to not do it. I managed to finish my studies and now I feel highly recompensed for all those years. When I help my patients, especially to the children, I feel really happy. I’m glad to be a good doctor, loved by the people.

My daughter Raquel loved when I was reading stories to her. She loved it so much, she learned to read by herself very soon. She was reading faster than my other children. When I got sick, she read to me, and it was wonderful. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for such a clever and caring daughter.

On my way back from the market, I was talking with my fired Josefina. We stopped near an abandoned house. Suddenly, a skeleton appeared from the house and tried to catch us. Only thanks to the protection of the Virgin of Zapopan, we managed to escape from this ghost. The Virgin healed us from the fear that kept us for a few days after. We thank for that with this retablo.

The Flores brothers noticed a cow that was taken by a river. They thank the Virgin for they saved her and now this godsend cow gives them a lot of milk.

Señora Nadina and I were seating on a bench having a snack when the nagual came out of the woods. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because she drove the nagual away with her prayers.

March 1931, don Carlos Prieto lost his job. He was afraid he would be thrown in jail for a theft occurred in his old office, he began sleepwalking. His wife pray to the Virgin so that everything would clear up and her husband’s name would be cleared. May 12, the Virgin of Zapopan made the miracle—the real thief was discovered, and don Carlos got his job back and received a compensation. They give thanks.
