One day when I was cooking, I took off and started floating in the air. I managed to come down only some time later. I was afraid and prayed to Saint Paschal because I continued to fly every day. Finally the saint made me understand that it was caused by quesadillas with mushrooms that I loved so much and ate frequently. Now, when I stopped eating them, everything is back to normal. I thank the Saint because it’s hard to cook while flying.

I’m a terrible cook. That’s why my mama used to say I’d never get married. But thanks to Saint Paschal I found a husband who cooks marvelously. He adores cooking, and it is his passion. He prepares delicious dishes for me and our kids. I thank Saint Paschal, the patron of cooks.

Enormous cockroaches invaded my kitchen. I was afraid that my little son Martin who put everything in his mouth would eat one of those. I tried to kill the cockroaches but they were too many and never end. They were coming and coming. I prayed the Holy Cross for help, and thanks to its divine intervention the cockroaches <…>

My stove had been possessed by the fire devils. Every time I started to cook I was afraid to get burns because they were causing big dangerous flames. I prayed so much to Saint Paschal Baylon to help me to throw these demons out of my kitchen. The saint herald me and gave me an advice in my dream to sprinkle my stove with holy water. I did so, and it helped. The devils never came back to disturb me.

My patrons asked me to cook some mole and two turkeys. I was feeling bad to kill birds. I thank Saint Paschal because I convinced my patrons to have another dish and they even gave me those two turkeys as a gift. I took them back to my hut, and I’m very glad.

Since I began my diet I felt somehow very uncomfortable walking. After losing little bit of weight I began to levitate unexpectedly. Sometimes it happened while I was sleeping, but other times it happened while I was cooking. Being up there I couldn’t remove the stew from the fire and it got burnt. I was really afraid it could happen outside on my way to the church and the people would think that I’m a loony flying like a balloon up there. I prayed the Virgin, and thanks to her I don’t rise up anymore. I only feel sometimes more lightness in my legs but they don’t take off from the floor.

The demon of the gluttony possessed everyone in the house. We ate without a break whatever comes to hand. We became so fat that I couldn’t get in my dresses. Then I asked Saint Paschal Baylon for a help. The saint took mercy upon us, and our voracious hunger started to decline thanks to the fact that the saint chased the demon out from our kitchen. Now we are eating much less and are losing weight.
