One day my husband Jose went to the United States to work, and I never heard again from him. I open a fruit shop to support my children, and the things went good thanks to Saint Anthony. The Saint made me another miracle as well. On October 15, 1964, after three years of absence, I received a postcard from my Jose who told me that he was coming back.

I went for a walk with my two suitors. I stumbled and accidentally fell into the river. The suitors ran to help me but since they both wanted to be a hero they pulled me in different directions. Finally, thanks to the miracle of the Virgin of Guadalupe I managed to get out by myself and didn’t drown. Then I decided to not go out with any of these idiots.

The Virgin worked the miracle, and few weeks later the goat got cured. Now it’s like a new one—runs and jumps. We offer this retablo for that.

I put a ladder to fix a hole in the wall. The ladder tilted and pushed some pots. My children were down, right under them. I implored the Lord of Blue Eye, and miraculously the pots fell a few inches from the kids and didn’t hurt them. I thank for that miracle.
