My wife had a difficult labour. But thanks to the Lord of the Wonders she gave birth to a beautiful baby. I offer this retablo because they both are feeling well and I’m very happy to be a father first time.

I was washing my baby girl in the river. She was splashing around and got hit by the wave. She started to drown. Horrified, I prayed to the Holy Child the Savior of the World so that she wouldn’t be dragged by the current. The Blessed Child worked the miracle, and I was able to save my little daughter before the river took her away. I dedicate this retablo thanking for everything ended well.

October 25, 1958, I was washing my baby boy and slipped on the soap. I fell and hit so bad, I couldn’t stand up. Only my prayers to the Virgin of San Juan brought me the desired relief in the few days.

It was a cloudy evening and it was blowing hard. My wife had to give birth, but we lived far from the town. The long walk was exhausting, and my wife had a terrible pain. I picked her up in my arms. We didn’t want our little daughter to stay at home alone, so she came with us as well. It was difficult to walk against the wind. But thanks to Saint Raymond Nonnatus we managed to arrive to the hospital before my wife gave birth. And there our beautiful and healthy baby boy was born.

My baby was very sick. He had a high fever, and I prayed to the Virgin almost all night long until I fell asleep. With the first dawn in the morning I heard a soft flapping, and I saw a lot of butterflies flying around. I noticed that my baby had no fever and was smiling. I give thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan for healing my baby and for this beautiful sight.

Señora Mercedes was ironing clothes in the house of the Cataña family and was looking after Nicanor, the 10 months old baby. While he was playing he pushed the table, and the hot iron fell down. Realizing what a terrible accident could happen, Mercedes thanks Saint Jude Thaddeus for saving the baby from the iron. She ordered this retablo for escaping from this situation.

The dog of my neighbors had puppies. But after they were given away the dog was disconsolate. So when she saw my baby sunbathing in our yard she thought it was one of her puppies. And she took the baby with her. I give thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan because I noticed it in time before the dog would feed my little girl with a dog milk.

On Sunday, at the dawn, I waked up frightened. I was in anxiety. It made me go to the kitchen where I suddenly heard a baby crying. I came in the yard and there I saw an abandoned baby. Thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan, I didn’t wake up later when the baby would have been dead from cold and hunger. Instead, now this baby is my joy.

Since I entrusted myself to the Miraculous Virgin, I haven’t had any problems with delivering babies. I had been out of luck before, and many of my babies had been dying. I hope my luck will keep up and I’ll get a raise in the hospital.

My little son fell sick of pneumonia. But the doctor told me that he’d survive, because I kept the cradle in the warm kitchen. I entrusted my son to Saint Paschal Baylon, and the next day he got better. I thank for that with the retablo.

I went to show my newborn son to my grandmother Josefina. I stayed there till late at night. On my back back I met a giant nagual, who offered me gold and many other beautiful things in exchange for going with him and letting him to bring up my baby. I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for giving me strength to resist this temptation and to run away from the nagual.

I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because after many years, when we couldn’t have children, she blessed us with the most beautiful baby we have ever seen. The baby is strong and healthy, and we are the happiest parents in the world.
