I decided that we were going to visit the grand-mother Refugia who lived all alone and very far away. So I went with my children but on our way we were caught by a thunderstorm with many lightnings. I was afraid they would hit us. I prayed the Virgin of Zapopan, and she protected us <…>

My boy Miguelito ate so much sweets he felt pain in he stomach. It was so painful he screamed and cried. No remedy helped him. I prayed to the Holy Child Doctor of the Sick for help, and with his divine help—also thanks to the doctor who consulted us—Miguelito is healthy. I give thanks.

My son David was flying his kite, and dogs that seemed rabid bit him. We thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for the dogs weren’t rabid and David didn’t have to go through vaccine shots.

My son Carlos enjoyed teasing a neighbor dog. It was barking and growling throughout the door. But one day the door wasn’t shut, so the animal ran out and jumped on my boy. Only thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan’s intervention it didn’t bite him and only scared him tremendously. Since that my son won’t tease any dog.

I used to read fairy tales to my son since he was very little. Now when he plays he imagines himself as a prince rescuing princesses from the claws of a terrible dragon. He’s riding his faithful white horse, and they go for strange lands in search of astonishing adventures. I thank the Virgin for blessing my son with this great imagination and fantasy.

In 20 years of me working as a teacher, the kids made me cry few times because of their bad behavior and indifference. But those sad moments are compensated when the kids show their love and compassion. It feels very nice to see that the efforts have given the results and the kids are learning and developing. I thank the Virgin for these very joyful moments.

My son Luis befriended the monkeys that were coming to our patio. He used to spend all day climbing up the trees with them and learning their skills and tricks. He refused to eat anything but fruits. But thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan he finally met other kids and eventually forgot about those damned monkeys when he began to go to the school.

They tried to bite her, and, fearing that they might bite her baby, she prayed Saint Quiteria. When I put my daughter Rosita in a boarding school, she became a sleepwalker. She walked on the roof of the school. I was very much worried that my daughter was in such danger, so I took her back from the school. I prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan to cure her, and the Holy Virgin worked a miracle. My Rosita doesn’t walk in her sleep anymore. I give thanks.
