We went to Guerrero for a couple of days to visit my aunt Josefina. When we came back we found out that our kitchen was flooded with giant cockroaches. They were everywhere, even on the ceiling. We couldn’t get rid of them and prayed for help to Saint Paschal. Thanks to his intervention the cockroaches disappeared. We thank for it.

The doña Paca’s tavern was very popular until one day a new joint opened up near by. They had a jukebox and offered free soft drinks and bread to the meal. Nobody came to doña Paca anymore. She was desperate, so she entrusted herself to Saint Francis. And a miracle happened right before her eyes. Giant cockroaches came from a garbage can and went in a line to the new tavern. So now the people prefer the doña Paca’s tavern again. She thanks her saint promoter.

The Feast of San Juan is celebrated on June 24. We pray for a good monsoon to bring us the necessary rains that help the plants and animals. When the rains start, the desert comes to life. The smell of the wet creosote in the cool breeze gives a welcome relief. Early the next morning worms of flying ants hover in the air. The creeks and washes flow into the Santa Cruz river and within days, everything is green.

My daughters were playing hide and seek and got lost in the burnt forest. They were afraid because everything around was back and dead. But suddenly hundreds butterflies appeared and began to fly around my daughters. The girls followed them and got out the forest. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for this miracle.

Josefa Gutierrez went to the town to sell fruits. On the way there, her donkey got furious, because of a wasp sting, and threw Josefina off. She fell on the rocks and hit her had so badly that she saw how the death and the devil were approaching to her. But thanks to her angel guardian, who came and gave her few slaps, she recovered consciousness. The devil and the death had to leave with nothing. Josefina thanks for they remained disappointed.

I had a cockroach invasion in my kitchen. They climbed on the table when my friend Laura, who is fanatical about cleanliness, visited me. I almost died of embarrassment. I didn’t know what to do and I prayed to the Virgin of San Juan, so that she would help me in such a difficulty. Thanks to her divine intervention all cockroaches disappeared that night. I thank the Virgin because Laura didn’t part company with me after that incident. I love her very much and we have fun together.

The plants in my garden were withered and didn’t flower. I was sad. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for giving me an idea to play music for my plants. My garden came back to life and flourished. It became full of birds and butterflies. Now thanks to the music, I have the most beautiful garden in the neighborhood.

The teacher Ramona Gonzalez was assigned to a grade in a school filled with insects, animals and garbage. In addition to it, her pupils were stupid and didn’t study at all. The teacher thanks the Virgin of Zapopan because she was transferred to another school where the children are smart and there are no animals and insects.
