My mother and my aunt taught my son Carlitos to embroider. He created exquisite embroideries and was very enthusiastic about it. I was distressed and asked the Virgin of the Rosary to make so that my boy wouldn’t enjoy embroidery so much because if his father, who is a really macho, had found out that his son loved doing the women’s work he would’ve been furious. Thanks to the Virgin his cousin Luis taught my son to ride a bicycle. Carlitos enjoyed it so much, he forgot about embroideries.

My grandmother’s ghost began to appear every night at the sewing machine. First I was scared, but then I understood that she came to help me with sewing. I had a lot of work to do and I was very tired. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for this amazing miracle.

When I became a widow, I decided to get retired. I devoted myself to embroider and to care about my dogs. But one day the devil appeared and whispered in my ear some sinful ideas. Then I started to look with lust at the pharmacist Manuel and even on our priest. When I realized my distress, I prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan. Thanks to her inspiration I accepted the doctor Vazquez’ marriage proposal. Now I think only about him. And I thank the Holy Virgin for saving me from the devil.
