We thank Saint Anthony for a beautiful wedding and we played it being in love. We hope we’ll be happy and, with the saint’s blessing, we’ll have healthy children.

At the day of my wedding my fiancé changed his mind and didn’t come to the church. Furious with rage and pain, I ran to the cape and threw myself into the sea to kill myself. But after falling into the water I imagined my skeleton in the wedding dress lying at the bottom of the sea and surrounded by corrals and seaweed. I realized I didn’t want to die. But my dress got wet and heavy and dragged me down. Saint Barbara came to help me. I was taken by a current and brought up to the shore. A wave threw me back to the air and to the sun. I’m infinitely grateful for that.

The day of my wedding, Manuel Martinez returned to the town. He was the love of my life, and I thought he’d never come back. I thank the Holy Virgin of the Rosary for I didn’t commit an error of marrying a man I didn’t love and only because I wouldn’t like to stay an old maid.

On the day of our wedding there were so many children and doves near by the church doors. It’s a good omen that means many years of happiness. We thank Saint Anthony for his blessing.

I give infinite thanks to the Virgin of Zapopan because I met a good, handsome and loving man whom I marry. We are deeply in love with each other, and our marriage will be very happy. We will live our life together and will love each other very much.

I met a ghost of the dead bride on my way. She was wondering around looking for her lover and abducted the travelers thinking that they were her husband. I give thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe because I managed to escape from her riding her demon before she could catch me.

R. was about to get married when his actual wife appeared, and it was bad. He was accused of bigamy. He thanks Saint Raymond for solving this problem. He did his punishment and promises to amend.

When we were returning from the work, my buddy Simon and I had a chilling encounter near the cemetery walls. A headless bride appeared to us. She was wondering looking for her lover. We thank the Virgin of Zapopan because the ghost didn’t see us and passed by blasting us with freezing air. I’ve got more gray hairs after that, and Simon now stutters.
