I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for the miracle of my father getting better. We played football, and he fell and hit the back of his head. He lied almost like a dead man. I prayed the Virgin so he would survive. I offer this retablo as my gratitude.

Sebastian Ramirez mounted on a very angry bull and hurt his balls. He couldn’t heal them, so he entrusted himself to the Virgin of Guadalupe and everything got cured. He thanks the Virgin and brings her this retablo.

Our masters asked us to cook a turkey stew for the wedding of their daughter. We were feeling bad to cook the turkeys. So we decided to prepare something else and prayed to Saint Paschal to not getting fired. The masters didn’t get angry with us and even gave us the turkeys. We thank for that.

When I came to work to the Sanchez’ house, I had a lot of troubles with Amelia who was the former cook. She got jealous because my dishes tasted better than hers. So she started to spoil my food. I thank Saint Paschal Baylon for the masters noticed it and scolded her before committing an injustice to me. So I was left in peace.

My mother-in-law always criticized my food because she didn’t like me as a daughter-in-law. It was very difficult for me when we were eating. I was in such despair so I entrusted myself to Saint Paschal, and little by little she changed her attitude towards me. Now she even admits that I cook very well and we live and peace.

I came to work as a cook in one house. But the lady who worked there was jealous because my masters loved my food better. She secretly put pepper and salt in my dishes. I ask Saint Paschal for help. And soon enough, the injustice was discovered by my masters. They fired her, so now I’m very happy to cook for the family.

Catarino Chavez was carrying wineskins with aguamiel near Cholula when he got caught in a strong thunderstorm. He was passing under a black cherry tree when a lighting struck into it. Catarino entrusted himself to the Virgin of Guadalupe. Neither he nor his donkeys got hurt. He thanks for that with the retablo.

Micaila Perez almost made the mistake of running away with her boyfriend who was a criminal. Her mother, Demetria Pantoja, prayed to the Lord of Chalma. He showed his protection making the daughter to reconsider it. Mother thanks for this.
