I became a widower shortly after my wedding. I didn’t want to marry again after that. I forget about my loneliness in the company of my cocks. When they see me in sad mood, they come to me and peck my legs showing me that I’m not alone. I thank the Virgin for that.

My sister and I, we are widows with no children. We were a little bit lonely so we began to adopt some dogs which were abandoned by people because they were injured, or little bit aggressive, or restless. Then we realized there are thousands of dogs on the streets. So we opened a shelter where the dogs could live until some caring and responsible people adopted them. We thank Saint Francis for filling our lives.

I dedicate this retablo to Saint Raymond for he gives me strength and protects me during these long nights when I have to sleep alone. I have so many naughty, filthy thoughts, but he helps me to win over the sin and to postpone my damnation.
