Roberto Guzman’s wife left him and two newborn twins. He fervently thanks the Child of Atocha for he managed to take care of the babies, while working to support them.

Jasinto and Juvencio, two twin brothers, were fighting to death over the inheritance left by their late parents. Their godfather Ramon Zalvan asked the Holy Child of Atocha to give them good sense, and the brothers divided the inheritance properly. They swear not to fight again and testify their oath with this retablo.

My daughter Carmina turned into a sleepwalker. I got up at night and watched her so nothing bad would happen. Some time later her twin sister Leonor also began sleepwalking. They went in different directions so I didn’t know whom to follow. I was afraid if I’d go after one girl, something would happen with the another one. I prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan, and they both stopped sleepwalking in the same time. I thank for this miracle.

My twin-sister and I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because the Aguilar twins sing serenades for us every Saturday. They are marvelous tenors, and we all are very in love.

I fell in love with the twin sisters, Lupe and Gabriela. They both reciprocated me. They used to divide everything between each other but to divide me wasn’t a good idea. I couldn’t decide myself whom I prefer better. So I prayed to the Virgin of Guadalupe and she made so Gabriela fell in love with another young man. So now I can marry Lupe without other temptations.

We offer this retablo to the Virgin of Lourdes for helping us to overcome our vanity, since it’s neither mine nor my twin brother Manuel’s fault that we were born so attractive and intelligent.

The twin sisters L. and J. had a marvelous idea to perform an erotic dance for their cousin. But things went beyond control. The sisters promise to the Lord of the Wonders to be chaste from now on, although it may be difficult.

The Ramos family had two children conjoined at the back. With great difficulty the family managed to raise enough money, and doctors are going to separate them soon. They give thanks to the Virgin of Juquila for the forthcoming surgery.
