My husband used to work a little bit at the morning and then slept all day long. He wouldn’t work in his workshop, nor helped around the house which by the way needed a serious repair. I prayed the Virgin of Zapopan, and thanks to her I found some herbs that—as I was told—are very good for waking up. I began to prepare my husband some tea with these herbs every morning. He’s become so active, he works even at night now.

One October night I woke up in fear and saw a red devil standing at the end of the bed. I was thinking he didn’t come for me because I’d been a good and kind woman. Then, he came for my husband who is lazy and drinks a lot. Since I wasn’t pretty sure and didn’t want to make a mistake, I prayed the Virgin for protection. I grabbed my rosary, and then the devil disappeared in the darkness. I thank the Virgin.

On our way back from the grand mother Martina’s house, we had to pass near the cemetery. We met an rest soul there. Ut started chasing us, and we ran in fright parking to the Virgin of Zapopan. Thanks to her nobody of us got sick with fear and I didn’t have miscarriage at five month of pregnancy. We dedicate this retablo.

We went to live to a country house that my husband had near Catemaco. The place was beautiful but a little bit wild. One day my parrot flew away and I ran following it flew toward the forest. I was behind it with my baby so I couldn’t go very fast. However, I finally reached it but then I could no longer found the the way back home. We were lost in the middle of nowhere. I got scared, but suddenly many funny monkeys appeared. They guided us by jumping from one branch to another, and they led us to our house. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for this amazing miracle.

My daughter was sleepwalking. She climbed to the roof trying to reach the Moon. I thank her Guardian Angel for protecting her and not letting her fall down. Also I thank because after many prayers he made so she doesn’t walk in sleep anymore because I couldn’t sleep with all this worrying.

It was a very bad idea to send my sons for music lessons. I realized very soon that they had inherited tone deafness from their father. But the worst thing was that they were so enthusiastic and continued to practice for hours and hours. My nerves were shattered and I prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan for a solution. And the Virgin enlightened me with an idea of changing music lessons to football lessons. My sons immediately forgot about instruments and now they kick the ball in the garden all day long.

My doggy and I were admiring the view from the top when the edge of the cliff went down. We fell down. Suddenly I realized that I’m flying like a bird. I got a couple of wings on my back. I looked at my dog, it also got little wings. We landed softly near my grandfather’s house which was right under the cliff. I thank the Holy Virgin for this incredible miracle, which I don’t talk about to not pass for crazy.

I went to swim to the sea and immediately got so cramped, I went to the bottom. I had no air to breathe, and then dozens of crabs surrounded me and began to pinch me with their pincers. I thought I was going to die not only of lacking the air but, moreover, pinched by the crabs. But instead the crabs pulled me up to the surface and dragged me to the beach. Now I know it was a miracle made so I wouldn’t drown there.

My sons are very naughty boys. One day they got into the Jose Piña’s rancho to steal some fruits. They even brought a ladder. However, they didn’t know that Jose had bought police guard dogs. The dogs chased the boys up the tree and didn’t let them go down. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because Jose Piña saved them and the dogs didn’t bite them.

When we were visiting the grand-mother Martina my son went chasing a rabbit. They went far from the house and got lost. We were looking for them for hours but with no success. Then we entrusted them to Saint Christopher, and he made the miracle. A muleteer met the kids and brought them home. We thank the saint.

My son Bartolo and I were attacked by some dogs on the Romero street. I was afraid they were going to bite my boy and implored the Virgin of Zapopan. Then my son threw his ham sandwich he was eating. The dogs immediately forgot about us and ran to the sandwich. They ate it and then ran away. I thank for we came out this situation safely.

I was doing my laundry on the river, with my daughter. I was distracted with very dirty sheets, and when I turned I saw my girl had been carried away by the current. I ran after her, imploring to the Virgin, and then I saw a dog coming after my daughter. The dog brought her to the shore. I thank the Virgin for sending me that dog who was definitely an angel in disguise sent for protecting us.
