I wholeheartedly dedicate this exvoto to Saint Hedwig because after saving for a long time I finally managed to fulfill my dream to go to Spain to visit the Prado Museum and to see the work of the brilliant Flemish painter Peter Paul Rubens whom I admire so much for being one of the greatest in the history of art.

The nations of the world couldn’t reach an agreement in anything and they were threatening to go to war. All the peoples in the world were praying to their gods to guide them to the path of peace and to put down their arms, but it didn’t happen. And they launched nuclear bombs, and there was the end of the world. In testimony of such absence, I dedicate this retablo.

With the present retablo, I infinitely thank Saint Peter for helping me to overcome the fear of swimming in the ocean because after watching the film “Jaws” in the movies I got a trauma and wouldn’t go swimming. But I’ve overcome it now. May you be blessed.

I dedicate this retablo to the Lord of Miracles for the great talent of the Italian Michelangelo Buonarroti. He is considered one of the greatest artist in history, for his sculptures and paintings, and before all for the marvelous work he did in Sistine Chapel.
