When I came to work to the Orozcos’ house, I had a lot of troubles with Rosa who was the former cook. She got jealous because my dishes tasted better than hers. So she started to spoil my food. I thank Saint Paschal Baylon for the masters noticed it and scolded her before committing an injustice to me. Finally, I was left in peace.

Serapio Papaqui thanks the Virgin of Guadalupe for letting him to keep dancing as hue hue at this year carnival. Last year he accidentally shot himself with carbine and almost died. He was afraid they wouldn’t let him to participate at the carnival after that accident and it’s been his family tradition for many years.

A cowboy Pantaleon Godines got a sore in his crotch from scratching the saddle. Since no remedy would help him he entrusted himself to Saint Pancras. The next morning the sore was gone, and he thanks for that.

When Juaquina Ramirez went to the lake for water she almost fainted being frightened by the headless man. She thanks Saint Pancras with this retablo for he protected her and she suffered no damage but only pissed herself from the fear.

I have a passion for the photography. Above all I enjoy taking photos of animals. That’s why I went to the zoo. I wanted to have a better picture of a rhino, so I came too close to it, and my camera fell right near it. I thank Saint Charbel because the animal ignored me and didn’t do anything when I, absolutely frightened, had to go down for my camera. I promise to be more careful.

I love spicy food, but my Conchita was always overdoing it by putting too much chili in her dishes. I asked Saint Paschal for his divine help because I couldn’t take the food so spicy any longer. Now my wife knows the right amount of chili.

We thank Saint Cecily with this retablo for the received favor and for making Lupita, our singer, understand that singing wasn’t her profession. She insisted to be our singer but she was so horrible that we were only loosing clients and offers with her howl. Since Lupita has dedicated herself to the violin, we are very happy and the things are going better.
