Since it was very hot night, I opened the window and turned on my new fan before going to sleep. But two crocodiles thought the fan was an enormous and delicious fly, because of its sound. So they got into my room to get it. I thank the Holy Spirit because I managed to escape from those stupid crocodiles.

We thank the Virgin of Guadalupe because she helped us to get a whale who ran aground on sandbank back to the sea. Thanks to the Virgin we managed to drag him back on our boat which is so small.

Because of our lack of money, I couldn’t build a stable. And every time when it rained, my wife brought the cow inside the house so that it wouldn’t get wet. I hated it because this damned cow used to lick my feet. I prayed to the Holy Virgin to get some money so I could build the stable. The Virgin made me this miracle, and now the cow sleeps outside.

Happened so that in June, in the municipality of Chignahuapan, Puebla, an epidemic broke out among señor Honorio Sanchez’ animals. Finding himself in such distress he asked Saint Francis of Assisi, with all his heart, to not let the animals die. In few days they were cured. He dedicates this humble retablo for such a great miracle.

A horde of squirrels invaded the people’s houses. They were eating all the food, but the worst part was that they were smashing and dropping everything around. But thanks to our prayers to Saint Francis, a new restaurant with delicious food was opened in our town. So the squeamish squirrels lost their interest in our houses and went to destroy the restaurant.

The pig jumped on me when I was about to cook it. Thanks for it didn’t reach me.

I infinitely thank you, Virgin of Guadalupe, for the miracle of saving me from dying when my bear went crazy during the act. I entrusted myself to you and got off safely.

I became a widow in a young age. I had no children and didn’t want to marry again. I got me a good company of my cats instead. On Sundays I put on a nice dress, my best shoes and a ribbon in my hair, then I take my three cats for a walk. They are my family. The old gossips of the town call me a crazy cat lady and talk behind my back. But I don’t care because my pets and I enjoy our walk and we are happy.

I thank God for brining me a very cute kitten on a cold night. It’s been 12 years with him.
