Camilo Gonzales worked as a bus driver, and he got a route in Altas de Jalisco. One morning he was driving being drunk and exhausted. He feel asleep behind the wheel, and the bus fell over a cliff, in a lake. The driver thanks the Virgin of Zapopan because no one of his passengers drowned and because he wasn’t thrown in jail for this accident.

On the way down my bus’ brakes broke down. I entrusted myself and my passengers to the Virgin of San Juan. Thanks to her at the end of the slope I managed to brake and slacken the speed. I give thanks with this retablo for escaping a terrible accident.

I thank the Holy Face. When the brakes didn’t work on a winding road, you helped us. Guillermo Dominguez pays for it with this retablo.

I was driving a bus when the brakes broke down. The bus was going to fall of the cliff, but thanks to the Virgin of San Juan I hit a tree, that kept the bus from falling. I dedicate the retablo for that.

My bus’ brakes broke down, and it went into cowboys and their cows. I thought I was going to crush them all. But thanks to Holy Spirit I only hit one cow, but nothing serious happened even with this cow. I thank because no one got killed through my fault.

On the road going down to the town, I noticed that my bus’ brakes went out. There was a christian with donkeys in front of me, next to a cliff at one side and stones at another. I didn’t know what would be worse, to kill this man with the donkeys or to crash my passengers. I entrusted myself to the Virgin of San Juan, and the man with the donkeys moved aside. I flew near him at high speed. I managed to brake at the end of the slope. I thank for I didn’t have to kill anybody.

1958, I went to Tepeaca to sell my goods at the town square. But the bus’ brakes broke down. I entrusted myself to the Father Jesus, and we arrived without any accident. I give thanks for such a big favor.

Federico Garcia was hit by a bus while riding a bike near by the church. Nothing happened with the bicycle, but Federico broke his leg. The doctor said that he probably would be limping for the rest of his life, because it was a very nasty fracture. But thanks to the Virgin of San Juan Federico got recovered and now walks without problem.

May 25, 1953, we went to baptize our Luisito. The bus broke down so we had to ride horses. We were in rush, so we rode full speed. My horse stumbled on rocks. We thank the Virgin of the Rosary because nothing happened with the baby at the falling. We still baptized him, and he’s all right.
