I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because my dog Casilda accepted stray kittens that came to my garden. The dog even licks them and let them climb on her, so I could give them milk and pet these poor abandoned animals.

I thought I didn’t like pets. But one day someone left a basket full of kittens behind my house. They were so helpless, and my heart softened. I couldn’t leave them over there. I fed them and decided to keep the kittens for a while. But I loved them and felt attached to them. Now they keep me company, because I live alone with no family. I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe.

I became a widow when I was young. When my children grew up, got married and left, I felt lonely. I adopted some cats so that they would keep me a company. I gave so much love to my animals. One day my daughter got divorced and came back with my granddaughter to live with me. Now I’m even happier, because my granddaughter shares my love to the cats. We coddle them together. And I thank the Virgin of the Rosary for these moments of joy.

There were three cats living in the forest near the house. They were in bad conditions having poor nutrition. They were rawboned and wild. It took a lot of patience to win their trust. Now they live in my garden, they give me their love and keep me a company. They are fat and shiny now. I thank the Virgin for winning them over, because I love these cats very much and they love me.
(However, it is Saint Francis on the picture)

When I came out of my house, a robber tried to grab my bag. But my cats saw me being attacked by a man with a knife and jumped on him biting and scratching him. The robber got scared, dropped his knife and ran away. I thank the Virgin of San Juan because my cats are so brave and love me so much.

I wasn’t feeling good, I had a fever, so I went to bed early. At night I saw all the cats from the neighborhood flying around me. My cats were also flying, and they looked beautiful with wings. Nevertheless, I had a strange feeling about it. I supposed cats didn’t fly. So I became afraid I was going mad. I prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan, and she heard my prayers. Everything came back to normal, and my cats became common, ordinary cats. I thank the Virgin for I didn’t become insane.

My angora cat was very beautiful and delicate. So I had to chase all the stray cats that surrounded her away from her with broom. I didn’t want her to have kittens with these dirty ugly creatures. I give thanks to the Virgin of San Juan because doña Leti, my neighbor, was given a very beautiful male cat, and my kitty had a lot of cute furry kittens with him.

I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for letting me arrive in time to not allow my kitty to make a mistake listening the indecorous offers from an ugly stray cat who had approached her. My kitty is very refined, and I want her descendants to be from a pedigree cat, — not from any cat. I’m going to find a fiancé worthy of her.
It’s the Virgin of Guadalupe in the caption, but it’s the Virgin of Zapopan in the picture.

The Sandra Gonzalez’ cellar was filled with big, fat rats. Sandra had a cat, but he was fussy and good-for-nothing. She desperately prayed to the Virgin of San Juan for help. Three days later the rats miraculously disappeared without biting anyone.

Our cupboard was invaded by rats. And our cat became so lazy that he didn’t catch them and slept all day long. I prayed a novena to the Virgin of San Juan because I was frightened that rats could bite us and eat all our food. The Virgin were kind enough and work a miracle. All rats disappeared exactly in the last day of my prayers. I thank for this.
