I licked a door handle that shone so beautiful with ice in the freezing cold. My tongue got stuck! Thanks to the Guardian Angel my mother was at home and she poured hot water on my tongue.

I give infinite thanks to the God of Google Classroom because, although I flunked my geography exam, the teacher got me passed because I did my homework and participated in class. I promise to study for the next exam because I felt awful to flunk it.

I thank the Lord of the Mountain for I didn’t fell on my butt when I peed in the mountain for the first time in my life.

Thank you very much, Holy Virgin Mary, for keeping protecting my daughter Carina and not letting her fall in this diabolic pond.

I was gravely ill with my liver, and I was in deadly danger. Then I implored the sky not to let me die and not to leave my poor children unprotected. But I got only worse, and then I died, and my husband went off with my cousin and didn’t want to have anything with my children. I leave this retablo as testimony.

Jasinta Pacheco got a little bump on her titty in the consequence of her little baby girl biting her when she suckled her. Since no remedy would help her, she implored Saint Paschal Baylon and got cured. She gives thanks for that with this retablo.

When my son Anacleto was swimming in Rio Verde, came a strong current and dragged him to the rocks, but thanks to the Holy Child of Atocha I could save him.

I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for the favor she granted us the last summer when we were at the Caribbean. My children Renato and Mateo were swimming near the beach but suddenly they disappeared from my sight. In despair I implore the Brow-skin girl, and they managed to escape from the attack of monstrous octopuses.

Thank you for the miracle performed June 17, 1979. You St. Nicholas dislodged the bacon I was choking on before my father could perform an emergency tracheotomy with his pen.

I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for I arrived right before this lousy priest would rape my boy when I sent him to confess. I ask God to punish this damned priest.

My daughter was born with a strange illness that stopped her from receiving the sunlight. We had to organize a nocturnal life for us. It was little bit difficult at the beginning, but then we got used to it and built a beautiful world under the moonlight. We keep cats instead of dogs, we have an owl instead of canaries, we grow impossible plants and instead of sunbathing we are moonbathing. I know when the moment comes my beautiful daughter will meet a man who will be willing to share this world with her. I thank the sky for we are happy in spite of everything.

Vicenta Gutierrez brings this retablo to Saint Anthony giving him infinite thanks because, despite having seven children, he sent her a man who is ready to take her with the kids and her grandmother as well.
